Spriggits is a business that cares about its customers. We know that as the conscious consumers you are that you have questions. While you can reach out to us at any time and we will try our best to answer those questions for you, this is a great resource to walk you through the most frequently asked questions and so much more. This resource will be available 24/7 and is intended to help you access the information you need as quickly as possible. Let’s dive into the FAQs or also known as the most frequently asked questions we receive from customers. Whether you’re curious about order processing times, returns, payment options, our sustainable initiatives, and so forth, you’ve come to the right place.
About Spriggits
Our Maine-Made Promise: As a proud member of Maine Made and REAL Maine, you will find a Maine Made logo icon and a REAL Maine logo icon on all our in house made product pages. When we say made in house we mean made from scratch! The maker behind all our soaps, lotions, salts, scrubs, ect. is Jordan. She does it all! Being made from hand and in small batches there may be small differences batch to batch such as the shade of a particular color.
What Makes Spriggits Different from Other Soap Companies: Spriggits stands apart from the many skincare businesses because we prioritize sustainability, clean ingredients, and products our customers can trust. We research and source the highest-quality ingredients, with the vast majority being unrefined and organic. All products are tested in-house and by friends, never on animals. Earth-friendly initiatives are rooted in every aspect of our business. We offer zero-waste options whenever possible, use recycled or compostable labels, and reusable metal tins. We never sell products with chemical fragrances or plastic-packaging. Beyond products, we focus on community impact. By offering guidance, celebrating customers’ successes, and providing eco-friendly alternatives, Spriggits empowers people to make meaningful changes. Our commitment to natural ingredients, thoughtful packaging, and community engagement allows us to deliver not just skincare, but a mission-driven experience that supports both people and the planet.
When was Spriggits Founded: Jordan filed Spriggits paperwork in February of 2022 and launched our website July 1st of 2022 which we tend to celebrate as our anniversary date. If you'd like to learn more about why Spriggits was founded you'll wanna check out our about us page and give this a read.
Where to Find Spriggits Products in Maine: Spriggits currently list of retail locations can be found at the very bottom of the screen under "Our Retailers".
Our Product Line: We offer an ever expanding product line that focuses on plastic-free solutions for your everyday. This includes the basics like hand and body soap, shampoo, conditioner, and dish soap as well as some more special self care products like foot soak bombs, botanical bath salts, and sugar scrubs to name a few. You can shop all available products on our shop page. Some of our product will only be available seasonally or in limited supply.
Our Ingredients: We source and use high quality ingredients because your skin deserves the best. We use a wide variety of oils, waxes, butter, herbs, essential oils, clays, salts, and more. You can see a list of ingredients on each product page. If there is something you are looking to include or exclude due to an allergy please reach out and we will be happy to assist. There are some ingredients we chose to avoid completely like synthetic fragrances, palm oil, phthalates, and parabens to name a few.
How do we source: Not all of the products we sell are ones that we have made ourselves. These items are bath and cleaning accessories such as soap dishes and brushes. We source these items from trusted third-party audited companies practicing their own sustainable initiatives like using FSC certified bamboo and upcycling materials that would otherwise be sent to a landfill. Not all of our ingredients are grown or are able to be sources within the US but we try to stay within the US as much as possible. A great number of our raw materials have a handful of certifications such as fair trade, USDA organic, non GMO, unrefined, cruelty-free, wild harvested, and so forth. Some of our ingredients we actually grow here at home base like calendula for out bath salts or cucumbers (when in season) for our shampoo.
I want to shop in person: You can! While our home base is not open to the public being that it is my home as well as workspace, we do pop-up markets all over Maine and into New Hampshire as well. Our markets are primarily on the weekends but may include a week day here and there. See our events page for more info about when we may be coming to a town near you. Other ways to shop in person include visiting our retail partners!
Can I pick-up my order?: Yes, you can. We offer a local pickup option in Rockland on our site at checkout. We will email you pickup details to arrange a date and time for your pickup appointment. Please try to be within 15 minutes of your scheduled time as this is a time block I have set aside to be available to you. You may also pick up your order at an upcoming market but this needs to be planned ahead of time.
Do you delivery?: Yes we do offer local delivery within Rockland, ME for $2. This option can be selected at checkout.
Shipping Options: We always offer free shipping to our customers on any order totally $75 or more excluding applicable taxes. This is a coupon that is automatically applied at checkout. We ship via USPS and UPS. Order fulfilment aka the time it takes us to process, pack, and ship out your order is typically same or next day unless your payment method is still processing, we are out of the office working at a market, or its a day the postal service is closed such as Christmas. Any other reason we may be delayed in shipping an order there would be a banner notice on our website. We cannot guarantee the shipping transit time once it is in the care of USPS or UPS but you will have a tracking ID number to get updates on your packages whereabouts.
Do you Offer International Shipping: we currently ship anywhere inside the US including Alaska and Hawaii. If you live internationally and have a shipping agent you are welcome to have your order shipped to your US-based shipping agent to then they may ship out to you. We are hoping to offer international shipping in the future but do not have a set date yet.
How will my order be packed? : If you have selected local pick-up, delivery, or come to us at a market you will get your items in a recycled paper bag. If you have opted into shipping then you will receive either a reused or upcycled paper mailer or box for your order. Your box or padded mailer will not be cute. We do not have branded shipping packaging. We use upcycled boxes made from larger boxes or reused boxes from our own mail or trusted local businesses. This is more sustainable as it give the box or padded mailer a second chance to be used before being recycled, and it keeps costs down so we can focus on the quality of the actual product! Inside we use reused kraft paper, newspaper, and biodegradable cellulose packing peanuts for product protection. We use biodegradable paper tape to seal the boxes and attach the shipping labels.
Can I return items?: No, all sales are final. We do not accept returns as these are personal care products with minimal to no packaging. We cannot resell the item like you might a t-shirt. We do however want you to have a positive experience shopping with us so if there is any issue please reach out and we will see what we can do.
Can I change or cancel my order?: If you have placed an order and need to change information such as shipping address, payment method, items inside the order, ect. please use our live chat function or email immediately with your information and request. We can only change orders you specifically placed and not an order someone else has placed on your behalf. If the order has been shipped we will no longer be able to assist with changing your order. If you wish to cancel and order, again, we cannot assist you if the order has already been packed and shipped.
Do you offer Subscriptions?: Yes! Some of our products have subscription options in which you can select the quantity you wish to receive and at the frequency you wish you have it shipped or picked up. You can cancel a subscription anytime by accessing your subscriptions under account settings, or my emailing us with your request. You can also skip a refill or change a refill specification at anytime. Should you wish to set up a reoccurring order with numerous items please reach out and we can create you a custom subscription.
Payment Options: We accept all major credit and debit cards, apple pay, google pay and PayPal via our website. In person we also allow Venmo. Cash is both accepted and greatly appreciated for in person pick-ups or at markets.

The best lotion for dry winter skin?: We have it! Our lotion bars have helped numerous customers that keep returning for refills. We have unscented and scented varieties that change seasonally. See the product page for more details and customer reviews.
Travel Friendly Shampoo Bar: All our products are travel friendly! We have 2 shampoo varieties available; honey so supple shampoo bar and violet tides shampoo bar.
Natural Cleaning Products: We are working to expand this collection in the near future but currently offer our best selling Solid Citrus Dish Soap Bar which sits perfectly on the bamboo soap dish and pairs well with our scrub brushes for pots and pans or everyday dishes.
